Savant Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Cunningham Cloud Code LLC ("we", "us") about your use of the Savant app. By using Savant you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Who can use Savant

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use Savant and to buy Savant Premium. Players aged 13 to 17 only see and connect with other players aged 13 to 17. Savant is a set of games and facts for fun and practice; it is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

2. Your account

We create a guest account when you first open the app. You can link an email, Apple or Google account to keep your progress across devices. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings › Account.

3. Playing fair and being kind

When you choose a display name or username, add friends, send challenges or nudges, or report someone, you agree not to:

• use names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonate someone, or infringe someone else's rights;
• harass other players or misuse reports;
• cheat, automate play, interfere with leaderboards, or try to access other players' data;
• reverse-engineer or disrupt the app or its servers, except where the law allows.

We may change names, remove content, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

4. Savant Premium

Savant is free to play. Savant Premium is an optional purchase sold through the App Store or Google Play.

• Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribe, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your App Store or Google Play account is charged within 24 hours before renewal.
• Free trials: if a plan includes one, you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. We send a reminder the day before the trial ends.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium for as long as we offer the app.
• Managing and refunds: manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• We may change what Premium includes or its price; price changes for subscriptions follow the store's rules and notice requirements.

5. Content

The app, its games, text, artwork and Remy the elephant belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Fun facts link to their sources; we work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee every fact.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop features. We'll tell you about significant changes to these terms in the app; continuing to use Savant afterwards means you accept them.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Savant is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

8. Apple

If you use Savant on iOS: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance; Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
